The Challenge

Wayne State University is a public research university in Detroit, Michigan. It is Michigan's third-largest university. In response to evolving student requirements in 2023, Wayne State set out to redesign the State Hall Building. The goal was to create a modern building where students can learn and grow. Given the significant transformations in design, comfort standards, and classroom resources, it became evident that the existing setup was both worn-out and outdated. Our responsibility was to provide the furniture chosen by the Wayne State design team, which aligns with their vision of creating a space that enhances student learning.

The renovation included the integration of cutting-edge, comfortable, and practical furniture across classrooms, auditoriums, and common areas, coupled with the latest technological advancements. The result is a revitalized environment that has received positive feedback from both the university and its students.
