The Challenge
The City of Monroe, located in Monroe County, Michigan, about 35 miles south of Detroit, faced several office space challenges. Their furniture was mismatched, and they sought a more unified look. There was a significant need for storage and tools to manage large volumes of paperwork. The desks were in an open space, and while the team wanted more privacy, they didn’t want to sacrifice the natural light from their single window. Additionally, the HR department required a meeting space, but the room was too small to accommodate a traditional meeting table.
