Burris Law, PLLC. Is a full-service intellectual property law firm located in the beautiful Rivertown-Warehouse District. Founded in 2016 by Kelly Burris; Burris law was growing rapidly and required additional space to accommodate their expanding team. As a licensed pilot since 1985; Kelly Burris has integrated aviation into her brand in every way possible. From her brand logo, to the art on the walls, to the furniture. Kelly’s love of aviation has taken flight into a successful law firm.
Growing rapidly, the Burris law team needs more space to accommodate their team and attract new talent.
Dedicated to Detroit; space where they can feature local artists and makers was key.
Create Private and Open Collaboration spaces that reflects and respects the historically acclaimed former headquarters of the Stroh Brewery Company.
Acoustical solutions for open environment.

Incorporate Kelly’s love of aviation within the space.
The Burris Team expanded into just over 3,000 square feet on Riverplace Drive; and conveniently in the same building as the USPTO Midwest Regional Office.
Partnered with Detroit Wallpaper to create a custom, unique wall covering application utilizing images of airplane turbines selected by Kelly.
Curated space is filled with pieces from local artists, with opportunities to change in the future.
MotoArt created a custom 747-Half Cowling Desk salvaged from the Boeing 747 Jumbo Jet. The reception desk greets you as the center-piece of their new space, connecting Burris Law’s brand and Kelly’s love of aviation.
Incorporated into this space are moss walls from Nevins, acoustical lighting from Buzzispace, and aviation inspired ‘birds’ from Filzfelt.
Glass front offices provide privacy while allowing daylight views to the entire office.
