As a growing, family-owned restaurant franchise with nine locations across Metro Detroit, this hospitality brand had outgrown its existing office and was ready for its next phase of growth. With plans to expand its internal team and attract franchise partners across multiple states, the company needed a headquarters that could support daily operations while serving as a destination for training, collaboration, and franchise development. ISCG partnered with the client to deliver a cohesive workplace solution, providing design consultation and specifications across furniture, custom millwork, flooring, paint, and wallcoverings. Custom millwork at the reception desk and lobby coffee area creates a welcoming, branded first impression.
Designed to reflect the brand’s entrepreneurial spirit and long-term growth goals, the headquarters features an in-house test kitchen for hosting prospective franchisees, training new employees, and testing menu concepts. A variety of meeting environments support different work styles throughout the headquarters. A lobby-facing conference room provides a welcoming space for meeting with prospective franchisees and providing new employee training, while a more secluded conference room offers privacy for internal meetings. An open design library and materials conference room supports the planning and design of future restaurant locations. Integrated storage, material cubbies, open shelving, and soft seating promote organization and collaboration throughout the space. Additional storage supports bookkeeping and document management as the company grows.
Reflecting the business’s family-oriented roots, the headquarters also includes a dedicated children’s play and homework area, allowing the owners’ children to comfortably spend time in the office.
Designed with flexibility and future expansion in mind, the headquarters now serves as a central hub for innovation, training, and franchise growth—supporting the brand today while positioning it for continued success in new markets.
